Dr. Sirota of MSM Delivered Keynote Address Highlighting the Unique Role of Interactive Videoconferencing for Communication in Real Time

In education, telehealth and content provider outreach programs, videoconferences plays a unique and important role by creating virtual meeting rooms through telepresence. Manhattan School of Music president Dr. Bob Sirota commended NDLA and Nebraska for the high quality programs that are delivered through videoconferencing technology. "What you are doing is really quite remarkable," said Sirota, referring to the large number of distance learning programs, outreach programs, and telehealth initiatives that are possible through videoconferencing. Sirota was also impressed with Network Nebraska pointing out that other states would be envious of the broadband connections that Nebraska has even out to the most rural areas.
